Notably, Stillwater offers outdoor seating for sunny days, surrounded by a lush bamboo grove, creating an inviting atmosphere. Despite its unconventional lot shape, the interior is surprisingly spacious, making it an ideal setting for various events. Recently, I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Stillwater with a friend. I opted for the Caesar Brussels, which presented a decent rendition of this classic salad. However, the side of grilled chicken was disappointingly dry. The cocktail "Peach Buzz" piqued our interest with its enticing name, only to deliver an overwhelming citrus note that masked the promised peach flavor. My friend's Kingston Bowl, a medley of vegetables, failed to truly stand out, and the portion size left us wanting more. Areas of Improvement: (1) Cocktails with more balanced flavors would greatly elevate the dining experience. (2) Ensure that the chicken is cooked to succulent perfection

I had a great meal here with my family the other night! All of the food we had was excellent. I really enjoyed my lamb bolognese and shared some of my dad’s pulled pork mac & cheese. Very flavorful and warm, especially since it was a rainy and cold night. I also loved my drink—warm apple cider. Exactly what I was looking for. The reason for the four stars is because of the service and experience. I was a bit disappointed I had to keep asking for refills on water. My mom also asked for her salad to come without avocado and it still did. It wasn’t a particularly busy night so they may have just been understaffed, but I would still definitely recommend coming here and I’ll for sure go back again!

This is a cute and conveniently located restaurant. There were a lot of fun and inventive drinks (I opted for the espresso martini). I'd wanted to go for the peanut butter and jelly creme brulee which absolutely met my expectations, though a little more of the jelly would've been good too. The Ritz chicken was delicious and perfect comfort food.

I found this on a best of brunch list and reading the menu before I visited, I was really excited. Unfortunately, the host that seated us was less excited to be there than a midnight shift gas station attendant. The rest of the staff wasn’t too much better. Service was slow and not well informed. Our waitress didn’t know what the pancake of the day was, which seems like a pretty basic expectation. The food was mostly good. They make a very good plain pancake and their tater tots were spot on. A side of sausage only comes with two links but they are good sized and tasty. Tacos and deviled eggs are fine but nothing special. The pop tarts sound awesome but don’t. They are soggy and definitely not worth the calories. The atmosphere is odd with lots of strange open space in the restaurant. It feels like they never recovered from COVID. Bottom line, there’s some good food on the menu, but the service and setting make this a place not worth seeking out. I’d go again if someone asked me to, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for a visit.

A Mixed Experience at Stillwater Stillwater offers a captivating ambiance with its charming design and inviting setup. The food, while presented beautifully, falls short of exceptional taste. However, the reasonable prices make it accessible to a wider audience. The highlight of my visit was Paola's outstanding service, which elevated the overall experience. With some culinary improvements, Stillwater could fulfill its potential as a dining gem.

This is a cute restaurant. There decor was adorable I loved the couches that made up some of the seating. Came here for restaurant week but the regular menu had better variety so myself and my 2 friends each ended up just ordered from the main menu. For Appetizers we ordered deviled eggs, chicken chili and biscuits. All three were amazing. Flavorful and fresh...the whipped chicken drippings that came with the biscuits put it over the top. For entrees we ordered the honey Creole salmon, sweet potato dumplings and the chicken fried steak. The Creole salmon tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. Not sure what they call a Creole rub but it was not what was expected. The accompanying crayfish risotto was very rich and creamy. Sweet potato dumpling were surprisingly good along with the creamy mushroom sauce. Didn't need the enormous "pearl" onions but they didn't take away from the amazing dish. The finale was the strawberry shortcake; this came with a creamy lemon sauce schmeerd next to the pound cake topped with sliced strawberries. Very tasty and not overly sweet. The only bad thing for us were the drinks. None of them were good. My friend ordered an espresso martini, the cocktail came out and the cup looked half full. She asked the woman for a new one and looked great when it came out but tested like coffee water. I ordered 2 drinks an old fashioned and a cosmo both were meh. My other friend like her drink. My final thoughts are they need to sell a 6 pack of biscuit with the whipped chicken drippings.

December 2023: The burger with the egg on top and tater tots on the side is amazing. 2022: Stillwater wowed me with its dinner menu and outstanding service. I had the pulled pork sandwich on brioche sliced toast. Very filling and flavorful. Then the deviled eggs had fresh and fluffy filling with grains of sea salt. The warm and freshly prepared ricotta donuts with dark chocolate sauce were the best I ever had. My picture shows 4, but there were 5 or 6, and they were all sizeable. Servers were on point and super attentive and filled my ice tea and water glasses.
